Study the Idea
Poppy's finished sketch arrives at Hattie's workbench. Hattie studies every shape, color and little detail.
A LITTLE MESS. A LOT OF MAKING.
Hattie knows that making something wonderful usually takes more than one try. Here's how an idea begins its transformation inside the Maker Barn.
Poppy's finished sketch arrives at Hattie's workbench. Hattie studies every shape, color and little detail.
Hattie gathers materials, colors and textures and starts asking the most important question: What if we tried this?
Now the real mess begins. Hattie cuts, paints, builds and turns the drawing into the very first version you can actually hold.
Too big? Too stiff? Wrong color? Hattie changes what isn't working and tries again until the idea finally feels right.
And that's exactly how Hattie likes it. Every wrong color, wobbly piece and do-over gets an idea a little closer to right.
