Butter Squishy – Stick of Butter Sensory Fidget Toy

$12.00

It looks exactly like a stick of butter, right down to the folded wrapper ends — and then it squashes flat in your fist. Squeeze it, bend it, roll it, press your thumb into the middle and watch it come back. The joke lands every single time somebody picks it up off a desk.

Long and flat is a different feel from a ball or a cube. You can wrap a whole hand round it, bend it end to end, or press it against a table with one palm — more ways to fidget with it than a small round squishy gives you.

Good for

  • Desk fidgeting, homework and phone-call hands
  • Kitchen-themed gifts, baker friends and anyone who cooks
  • Stocking stuffers, teacher gifts and white-elephant piles
  • Impulse buys by the till — it sells itself on sight

The details

  • Feel: soft and stretchy — squeeze it and it gives, then returns to shape
  • Look: bright butter yellow with the wrapper printing moulded on
  • Ages: 3 years and up
  • Care: wipe clean with a damp cloth; keep out of direct sunlight and away from sharp things

Safety — please read: this is a squeezable toy and squeezable toys eventually give out. Stop using it and throw it away at the first sign of a split, a leak or a soft spot. It is not food and not a teether, despite how it looks — keep it away from children who still put things in their mouths. Adult supervision recommended.

Poppywick makes small, tactile, quietly cheerful things for children — and for the grown-ups who end up borrowing them.
